Hair Removal Burning

Can you prevent “razor” burn from Veet Hair Removal gel?
I recently bought some Veet Hair Removal Gel, and the first time I tried it, it worked perfectly. I tried it again a couple days later and it began to burn, and when I used the tool to remove it, I saw I had red blotches all over my legs, which then turned into spotty scabs. I’d love to NOT have to endure the pain every time I use the Veet, so is there any way I can prevent this from happening again?
Don’t use it more than every three or four days and don’t leave it on too long. Those blotches are chemical burns and you’re either leaving it on longer than the recommended time or you’re doing it too often.
Read the instructions and follow them. If it happens again with you following the directions to the letter, you might just be sensitive to it. I can’t use Nair because of that, but I can use Veet and I don’t have any problems with it, though I don’t use it more than once every four or five days.
