Hair Removal Tapes

Is body Hair Removal with duct tape a good idea?
(i’m a guy btw)
I want to keep my chest and stomach hair, i think it makes me look manly, but I have this hair on my shoulders and across the back of my neck as well as on the sides of my mid-back (kinda over my lat muscles) that I want to get rid of.
I’d rather not spend the money on getting it removed professionally and I don’t want to shave it. I could get one of those home waxing kits but duct tape is only like $1!
So is this a good idea or just an exercise in masochism?
You are a million times more likely to get painful ingrown hairs from the duct tape. Wax doesn’t cost that much. Plus if you have a sweety I’m sure she wouldn’t mind helping you with that. A good friend shouldn’t mind either.
Masochism? Haha, no my friend, wax is as painful as duct tape. You get used to it after a while.
