PCOS and facial hair and Laser Hair Removal?
I have PCOS, which i have been on a birth control pill for about a little over a month now. (To get my periods and regulate my irregular hormones). I have unwanted hair everywhere from PCOS!! Im going to go to Laser Hair Removal to get it removed. Im first going to start my face, because i have it on my upper lip, chin, neck, sideburns.
I am a little worried because i have cut my hairs on my upper neck before and they have come back really darker and thicker. Im scared that when i get them zapped by the laser, they will come back the same? What if it doesnt work!? Anyone in my situation right now? Any success stories? Adding that im italian too, doesnt really help. Im a hairy girl! Help…and if you dont know what pcos is, dont answer.

I have PCOS too, and I know it’s annoying, embarrassing, and horrible. I know exactly what you’re going through. The hair removal sounds like a great idea, I’d like to get it too. I have it on my chest a little and on my upper arms and back as well. I know that a medicine I’m on helped with it growing back as fast and with the periods though, it’s called Metformin, ask ur doc about it. Good luck hunny! Don’t worry it gets better. I also heard after you have a kid its kinda like a reset button to ur brain though, too sometimes.
