Which countries have the largest amounts of plastic surgery?

Hollywood is truly the capital of the world plastic surgery? Of course, when we think about countries that are big on plastic surgery, our thoughts always go to the United States, but what about other countries? And in the United States really plastic Surgery crazy nation we think of that?

A 2010 survey conducted by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery found that target = "_blank"> n liposuctio was overtaken as the most popular breast augmentation procedure in the world (with the eyelid lift is the third most popular procedure) – and that the United States led the graph for most plastic surgery procedures per capita.

The same survey also found that non-surgical procedures (eg, Botox injections, collagen injections and laser Hair Removal) were more popular than surgery for the first time, perhaps due their lower costs. Again the United States was ranked the highest for the number of non-surgical procedures performed, with China and Brazil remain behind. However, other countries counted in the non-surgical list were Japan, Hungary and South Korea.

Others spotted at the top twenty-five including Germany, Spain and Thailand. Finish of the top contenders were surprised twenty-five Saudi Arabia, still managing to stretch over 11,000 breast augmentations in one year, despite their relatively low ranking.

The survey results represent 75% of all procedures done worldwide in 2009 – and an estimated total of 31,000 plastic surgeons to participate.
