Fair Hair Removal?
Dark hairs are easily permanently removed by light pulse therapy or laser. But what if you are fair with light hair and want your hair permanently removed? People think having light hair means that the hair isn’t a problem. But if you are suffering hirsutism, especially as a female, it is highly noticeable, embarrassing constantly, and means you have to remove the hair from your face every few days–which is extremely painful. Those who do Permanent Hair Removal are blase when finally informing a fair-haired person that they are not eligible. Surely there must be some safe and practical Permanent Hair Removal Solution for those with Fitzpatrick skin types I and II!!!
Have you considered electrolysis? I am not sure of it’s effectiveness for people with Fitzpatrick skin types, but you may want to look into it further to find out if electrolysis is appropriate for your skin type? It is said to be the only proven form of permanent hair removal, BUT it is also the most expensive method as well. If you choose electrolysis, be careful about who you go to. Not all electrologists are good at what they do. When done improperly, electrolysis may cause permanent scarring of the skin which is being treated. I would suggest finding an electrologist who has a very good reputation, and who is also very experienced in their field. I think it would be especially beneficial to locate an electrologist who is not only is highly skilled and experienced, but one who also has experience in treating people with Fitzpatrick skin types as well. But, as I already stated – I am not entirely certain that this method of hair removal is appropriate for your skin type. An electrologist can answer that question for you. As for laser treatments, it is my understanding that some forms of laser treatments may work well for people with your skin type, and perhaps even better than electrolysis would. I am not familiar with either method enough to give you an accurate answer. I am basing my answers totally on my limited understanding of both methods of hair removal. I think it would be best to consult a professional about this. As the other person said in her answer, be careful and don’t go to just anyone who can do laser treatments. This applies to electrolysis as well, as I already mentioned. Find a reputable, and experienced professional, and consult with them.
I hope this helps, and best of luck to you.
