Best way for a girl to remove facial hair?

I am tired of bleaching, and also do not want to risk using any techniques that would make that hair grow back coarser or even cause ingrown hair follicles (or something like that!). I believe waxing or using Hair Removal cream is the best. Which of the two is more effective and more long-lasting? And I would also like your opinions/suggestions on the best brands, for both wax kits and hair removal creams. Thanks, people!!
In other words, should I go ahead and use one of those techniques (waxing/hair removal cream), and which would be the top brands, in your opinion?
